Ziyarat of Madinah: Every Muslim knows that Madinah is house of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). His Masjid and his holy tomb fascinate every pilgrim who are here to perform the Umrah and Hajj. One thing notes that there is no need to wear Ihram and Talbiyah for the visit to Madinah or Prophet’s Masjid.

History of Madinah

Madinah is located in fundamental Hejaz and in the west, is Red Sea and Makkah is to the south about 200 miles. Before the Islam Madinah was known as a Yathrib and after Islam Prophet (PBUH) changed his name Yathrib to Madinah. Our Prophet (PBUH) had countless love for this holy city and once he said that,

There is a treatment for every disease in the dust of Madinah” (Al Targhib)

According to Hazrat Anas, Prophet (PBUH) said that,

“The person who offers 40 prayers successively in my Masjid, without absent a prayer in between, will harmless protection from the fire of Hell and other nuisances and also from duplicity.” (Musnad Ahmad)

Historical Places for Ziyarat of Madinah

There are many places to visit and ziyarat the Madinah are give below,

Masjid e Nabvi

Every Muslim has dream to see the Majid e Nabvi once in his/her life. You should take a bath, wear nice dress and apply perform when you enter the Masjid and saying Darud as well.

Baba e Jibril

Note one thing, you should enter the Masjid e Nabvi through Bab e Jibril or Bab us Salaam.

Graves of Sahaba’s

There are many graves you should visit like Hazrat Abu baker Saddique and Hazrat Umar e Farooq.

Jannat Al Baqi 

This is a graveyard which consider as a holiest one where the large number of Sahaba’s, Prophet (PBUH) wives and daughters are buried. This place is close to tomb of Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Masjid Quba

The basis stone was place down by Holy Prophet (PBUH) himself when he migrated to Madinah and because of this foundation this is the 1st Masjid in the history of Islam. Offer 2 rakaat of nafl in Masjid e Quba is equal to one Umrah.

Places of Badar and Uhad

The plain of Badar is 20 miles south west of Madinah. It is famous for the 1st battle against the Jewish.
